PETALING JAYA: Consumer packaged goods distributor Kim Teck Cheong Consolidated Bhd (KTC) has registered a net profit of RM3.38mil for its fourth quarter of the financial year ended June 30, 2019 (FY19).
This brought its full year net profit to RM12.39mil, on the back of a 36.2% year-on-year increase in revenue at RM625.36mil.
In comparison to FY18, KTC posted a net loss of RM8.13mil.
According to a Bursa Malaysia filing, KTC is optimistic of the distribution business segment and expect that it will be satisfactory and continue to be the major contributor in terms of revenue and profits to the group.
“The group is striving to serve its existing customers better by maintaining a high service standards while offering innovative service offerings, and at the same time attracting new agencies to complement the group’s highly diversified agencies portfolio,” it said.
