KOTA KINABALU: Former chief justice Richard Malanjum has been made chairman of Kim Teck Cheong Consolidated Bhd, one of East Malaysia’s largest consumer products distributor firms.

Malanjum replaces former Sabah education director Kamal Quadra who stepped down from the post.

He was also named as chairman of the board of directors for Berjaya Land Bhd yesterday.

KTC has 7,609 sales and distribution points in 78 districts, 14 offices in Sabah and Sarawak, and over 1,000 workers.
