Datin Lim Su Chin, 70 joined the Board of Kim Teck Cheong Consolidated Berhad as a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director on 2 December 2014.
In 1976, Datin Lim Su Chin earned her Diploma in Executive Secretary and Management from West London College in the United Kingdom. The following year, she commenced her career at Kumpolan Sabah Sdn. Bhd. as a Marketing Manager. Then, in 1978, she took on a new challenge at KTC Sdn Bhd as a Senior Manager, where she skillfully led the administrative and supply chain operations.
Datin Lim Su Chin played a key role in establishing KTC Tawau in 1983, and by 1989, she was promoted to the Director position at KTC Tawau. From 1989 to 1997, she made significant contributions to the operations of KTC Sdn Bhd and KTC Tawau, with a focus on supply chain management. Since 1997 and continuing into 2012, she has been actively involved in supervising and managing our Group’s operations in an informal and ad hoc capacity.
Working experience and occupation
She joined Kumpolan Sabah Sdn. Bhd. as a Marketing Manager in 1977. Thereafter, she joined KTC Sdn Bhd in 1978 as a Senior Manager responsible for the administrative and supply chain operations. Since then, she has been with our Group. In 1983, she assisted in the setting-up of KTC Tawau and was subsequently promoted to the position of Director in KTC Tawau in 1989. Between 1989 and 1997, she assisted in the operations of KTC Sdn Bhd and KTC Tawau in the area of supply chain management. From 1997 until 2012, she has been assisting in the supervision and management of the operations of our Group on an informal and ad-hoc basis.
